It was such a privilege to be able to shoot my own cousin’s wedding pictures. Martina and I go way back, all the way to before my 4th birthday party, when my dad dressed up like Batman and sent her screaming and weeping in terror at first sight of him. Liberty state park was one of those shoots that really surprised us. Darren and I had both been there many times, but once you go there with your eyes opened, and you start looking around for opportunities to shoot awesome photographs, the place comes alive. The four of us found some awesome scenery that we had walked or driven past a hundred times in the past, and never stopped to notice. A good lesson that when you stop to smell the flowers, you might just find a skyline filled with shimmering New York skyscrapers.
